Junior Training for the Under 11’s and Under 13’s is every Friday night during the cricket season and starts on  Friday 18th April 6.30pm - 8.00pm 

Sessions will cost £2 per person

Match Days for the Under 11’s and Under 13’s are Sunday    mornings, team selection will be made by the coach; players will be informed and team sheets will be on the notice board in the club house.

The club has purchased embroidered playing shirts and caps which can be purchased on training and match days at the club for the cost of £10 per Shirt and Cap for juniors and £20 for seniors. Priority will be given to players without club clothing.

Junior Information

The Junior Section at Mottram Cricket Club has been a thriving section of the club for well over 50 years and we hope for many more years to come.

We  currently have four Junior teams who all play competitive matches in their respective divisions of the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League. For the Junior Fixtures see the Fixtures Section.

We believe that the success of the Junior Section is down to the commitment of all involved in the section ensuring that any child ,irrespective of age or gender, plays the game of cricket in a safe, friendly & fun environment.

Our number one consideration is Child Protection and to this end the club has now adopted and implemented the ECB Safe Hands Welfare of Young People in Cricket Policy. This means that all our coaches, team managers, captains & club officials are appropriately qualified; Criminal Record Bureau checked and are aware of our Child Protection Policy and procedures.
