Le Club Français Give Computing Solutions
A Definite European Flavour.
Gillian & Yvan Biard who run Le Club
Français are one of our
most recent clients. We approached Yvan with a list of our services
over a year ago now, when his club was providing Paul Nixon's daughter
with after school French lessons, which benefited her tremendously
before she entered high school life.
As well as French, Le Club Français
also offer Spanish tuition to both children & adults alike.
We have registered domain names for
Le Club Français with a view to constructing a website for them in the
near future.

Computing Solutions Welcomes The
Manchester Football League
Computing Solutions, are happy to welcome the
Manchester Football League, as one of our newest clients.
Our involvement with them came through Mr.
Phil Platt, the league's secretary, & a member of Mottram Cricket Club, who are
sponsored by Computing Solutions.
Mr Platt was struggling with an ageing
machine, & finding his work was becoming more & more difficult. Computing
Solutions have custom built a new AMD Athlon Powered office machine which will
be used by Mr Platt in connection with his work for the league. Besides running
the usual office applications, the league also run a specialised Sports Today
programme, which sorts out everything from, fixtures, to referees, which can be
synchronised via the internet.
We look forward to a long involvement with the
league.

Windows XP Remote Assistance Trials Complete
Compusols clients using Windows XP can now request remote help from us via Windows Messenger®,
as well as by E-mail. This system allows us to fix problems online, whilst
you watch your mouse be moved around the screen by someone either around the
corner, or on the other side of the world!
In one of our most recent trials,
our client, & good friend Terry Maxwell, was encountering problems with
his P.C. We connected to his P.C.
via Remote Assistant, he then allowed us to 'take control' of his system, and
the problem was rectified inside 10 minutes, had this problem required a site
visit, the whole time including travelling would have amounted to over 2 hours!
Terry said "he couldn't believe
it, & was stunned by the capabilities of Remote Assistance, and thought it was a wonderful
service that Compusols were offering"...

'Signs-Here' Web Site To Be Constructed By Compusols
Web Design Service.
Signs-Here a Morecambe based sign & print shop, is
spreading it's wings by becoming part of the World Wide Web.
Mark Shaw has asked us to build a full display web-site
which will be able to display each & every one of his company's products &
services, which range from signs to banners to vehicle lettering, 'A' boards
etc, etc.
The site is expected to be in excess of 30 pages! and
will take between 4-8 weeks to construct.
We spent two full days on the premises of Signs-Here,
photographing all Mark's products, work & premises etc. and there are somewhere
in the region of 180 images which now have to be edited to be accommodated into
this magnificent site.
Mark said he was "very excited at the prospect of being
able to open up his business to the world"!!

Morecambe's Chieftain Pub Gets A Facelift From
Compusols Web Design Service.
Bernard & Linda Shaw's Morecambe Pub Web Site For The
Chieftain, is currently undergoing huge refurbishment work by us here at
Compusols.
When Bernard spoke to us recently, he told us how the
site had been in operation for around 2 years, but had been designed with a
limited amount of flair. The site previously consisted of 3 pages, and once our
work is complete, it will boast in the region of 18! which will benefit from one
of our on-going updates & maintenance packages...
As well as describing the pubs charm, we suggested to
show more things like the pub's fantastic menu, available ales, etc. We have
also added a map to the site, to make it easier to find for those visiting the
Chieftain for the first time.
